Creed Aventus is known as one of, if not the best men’s fragrance on the market. It has a huge following, but also a large price tag. This makes you wonder, what are the best Creed Aventus clones?
How Does Creed Aventus Smell?
Creed Aventus is often hailed as the king of men’s fragrances. With its incredibly masculine scent and amazing versatility, you can’t really go wrong with this one, ever.
This fragrance was created by Erwin and Olivier Creed, a father and son duo, and was released back in 2010. Ever since its release, Creed Aventus has always been at the forefront when it comes to amazing men’s fragrances. But what makes Creed Aventus so amazing?
Well, for starters, Creed Aventus simply smells incredible. It has such a masculine and easy-to-like scent that you’ll have a hard time finding anyone who doesn’t enjoy smelling this scent. But in order to best understand its scent, let’s take a look at the notes used to make this masterpiece.
- Top notes: Bergamot, apple, pineapple, and blackcurrant.
- Middle notes: Birch, patchouli, jasmine, and rose.
- Base notes: Musk, oakmoss, ambergris, and vanilla.
How Does Creed Aventus Smell?
These fragrance notes are responsible for an incredible scent. From the first spray, you’ll immediately pick up a wonderful fruitiness, mainly coming from the pineapple. This makes for a juicy, yet incredibly masculine scent.
From here, a smoky, woody undertone of birch starts to appear. The birch makes sure that this is an undeniably masculine fragrance.
Along with the birch are some lighthearted floral notes and even a subtle sweetness coming from the vanilla. This leaves you with an overall magnificent fragrance that shows both freshness and boldness, all the while being extremely inoffensive.
With such a scent, you’ll find the most success wearing it during the spring and summer. Here, the temperatures are on the warmer side, making it perfect for a fruity masculine scent such as this.
Alternatively, you can also go with a decant. A decant is a smaller bottle, filled up with the original fragrance. This way, you can get your hands on a smaller amount of the fragrance, for a lower price. If you like to learn more about fragrance decants, where to purchase them, and how they will save you money, you can read this article here!
Lastly, you can always go with a clone first. A clone is a fragrance that comes extremely close to the original, Creed Aventus in this case, but isn’t 100% the same. These clones will give you a very similar feel, though, so here are 14 amazing alternatives to Creed Aventus!
1. Rasasi Zebra
Rasasi Zebra is a fragrance that has been around since 2013, but only recently has it gotten a lot of attention. Zebra is a fantastic fragrance that shares many similarities with Creed Aventus.
- Top notes: Pineapple, lime, bergamot, lemon, black pepper, plum, and pear.
- Middle notes: Jasmine, freesia, and lily of the valley.
- Base notes: Ambergris, cedar, leather, white musk, oakmoss, and patchouli.
Rasasi Zebra opens with a wonderful scent of fresh fruits and citruses. Added to these fruity notes is a soft sweetness of plum and a spicy undertone of pepper. The plum and pepper are not found in Aventus, but they do add some depth and they don’t actually alter the scent that much.
From here, the fragrance dries down into something a little woodier, which goes great with the fruits and citruses from the opening. The note of lemon also starts to become more pronounced, which makes the scent stray away a bit from that of Aventus.
Still, the two fragrances have many similarities and most people will have a difficult time telling the two apart. You could say that Rasasi Zebra is a little stronger than Aventus, but not by much.
Rasasi Zebra is a wonderful alternative to Aventus and it comes in at a much more affordable price. This makes Rasasi Zebra an amazing clone.

2. Armaf Club De Nuit Intense Man

Armaf Club De Nuit Intense Man is arguably the most popular and best-known Aventus clone. This is a fragrance that was launched back in 2015, and ever since its launch, it has always been a fantastic choice.
- Top notes: Pineapple, apple, lemon, blackcurrant, and bergamot.
- Middle notes: Birch, jasmine, and rose.
- Base notes: Musk, ambergris, vanilla, and patchouli.
As you can see from the note breakdown, they are mostly the same as those of Aventus. This fragrance contains the added note of lemon in the top notes, and this note is responsible for the main differences between these two fragrances.
When you first spray Armaf Club De Nuit Intense Man, you can immediately pick up a rather harsh scent of lemon. Added to the lemon are some more fruity notes, leading to a stronger and harsher opening.
Luckily, this quickly settles down into something smoother. At this point, the scent of Club De Nuit Intense Man and Aventus are nearly identical. An untrained nose will probably not be able to tell the difference.
As the fragrance starts to dry down, a very similar woody and slightly sweet scent starts to come forth, leaving you with a fragrance that’s extremely similar to Aventus. The only main difference between the two is the lemon opening and the lower price tag.
- Similar to Creed Aventus: 9/10
- Longevity: 6-8 hours.
- Projection: Moderate.
3. Al Haramain l’Aventure
Al Haramain l’Aventure is a fragrance that represents Creed Aventus but does smell a little different. This fragrance was launched in 2016 but has always been a great alternative to Aventus.
- Top notes: Bergamot, lemon, and elemi.
- Middle notes: Jasmine, lily of the valley, and woody notes.
- Base notes: Musk, patchouli, and amber.
These notes differ drastically from the note breakdown of Creed Aventus. In fact, only three out of the nine fragrance notes are found back in Aventus. But still, the scents of these two fragrances are comparable.
The opening of l’Aventure is a little more citrus heavy and lacks the fruity pineapple that’s so popular in Aventus. Instead, there is a subtle resinous sweetness, but this hits a little bit different than the fruity pineapple.
Shortly thereafter, the woody notes start to appear. These aren’t the smoky birch type, but more of the classic masculine woods. Again, these smell great, but not 100% the same as Aventus.
Lastly, in the dry down, this fragrance utilizes the note of amber, which gives warmth and a subtle sweetness. This is, however, a different sweetness when compared to the vanilla from Aventus.
Overall, this is a fragrance that isn’t 100% the same but shares a lot of the same qualities. Many people won’t even pick up these differences, but they sure are there. Despite the differences, though, this is yet another amazing Creed Aventus clone.
- Similar to Creed Aventus: 8/10
- Longevity: 5-7 hours.
- Projection: Moderate.
4. Montblanc Explorer
Montblanc Explorer is one of the latest releases by Montblanc and this one has a close resemblance to Creed Aventus. This fragrance was launched in 2019 and was created by Antoine Maisondieu, Jordi Fernandez, and Olivier Pescheux.
- Top notes: Bergamot, pink pepper, and clary sage.
- Middle notes: Vetiver and leather.
- Base notes: Ambroxan, akigalawood, patchouli, and cacao pod.
Just by looking at the note breakdown, you can immediately notice some differences. However, a difference in note breakdown does not immediately mean a difference in scents.
The opening of Montblanc Explorer is light and fruity and even has a little sharpness in there. This sharpness comes from the herbal fragrance notes that push this fragrance in a more unique direction. Still, this herbal direction is extremely subtle and most people will just notice the fresh and fruity qualities.
When the fragrance starts to dry down, the woody notes start to appear. These woods are much drier than you’d find in Aventus, but they don’t have a smoky aspect. You can pick up dry and masculine vetiver, supported by a slightly sweet touch of patchouli.
This makes for an interesting combination that sounds like it would smell different from Aventus but is actually very close. The main difference between these two fragrances is the herbal undertone and the heavier emphasis on dry woods, but aside from that, these two fragrances are almost interchangeable.
- Similar to Creed Aventus: 7/10
- Longevity: 4-6 hours.
- Projection: Moderate.
5. Afnan Supremacy Silver

Afnan Supremacy Silver is a wonderful interpretation of Aventus. This fragrance was launched back in 2013, and ever since then, it has been known as one of the most faithful recreations of Creed Aventus.
- Top notes: Pineapple, apple, blackcurrant, and bergamot.
- Middle notes: Birch, jasmine, patchouli, and rose.
- Base notes: Musk, oakmoss, ambergris, and vanilla.
Just like Creed Aventus, Supremacy Silver opens with a wonderful scent of fresh fruits, of which, the note of pineapple seems the strongest. The opening of Supremacy Silver is a little harsher, though, so there is a slight difference between the two scents.
After the opening, a beautiful scent of birch, musk, and vanilla starts to appear. These notes add a masculine, slightly smoky, and slightly sweet scent to the mix. This is where Supremacy Silver really starts to come close to Aventus.
Overall, Afnan Supremacy Silver is extremely close to Creed Aventus. The main difference is that the opening of Supremacy Silver is a little harsher, whereas the opening of Aventus is very smooth.
Aside from the difference in the opening, many people will not be able to tell the difference. between these two fragrances.
- Similar to Creed Aventus: 9/10
- Longevity: 5-7 hours.
- Projection: Moderate.
6. Mancera Cedrat Boise
Mancera Cedrat Boise isn’t necessarily a cheaper alternative for Creed Aventus, but it is a fantastic fragrance with a similar scent. This cologne was made by Pierre Montale and was launched in 2011.
- Top notes: Lemon, blackcurrant, bergamot, and spicy notes.
- Middle notes: Patchouli, jasmine, fruity notes.
- Base notes: Cedar, leather, sandalwood, vanilla, moss, and white musk.
The opening of Mancera Cedrat Boise is a gorgeous mix of citruses and some sweeter fruity notes. This makes for a somewhat similar opening to that of Aventus, although this one is a little more citrus-heavy.
From here, you can start to pick up a few spices, adding depth to the fragrance, as well as a wonderful woody scent. Now, these spices, as well as the scent of woody notes, are different from Creed Aventus.
Aventus doesn’t really make use of spicy scents, and the woods in Cedrat Boise are a little denser. Still, booth fragrances are very similar, but Cedrat Boise seems a little denser.
Overall, though, many people will not really know the difference without smelling these two colognes side by side, making this a fantastic alternative.
- Similar to Creed Aventus: 7/10
- Longevity: 6-8 hours.
- Projection: Strong.
7. Nishane Hacivat
Nishane is a Turkish niche fragrance brand with a bunch of incredible fragrances under its name. Hacivat is one of them, and many will recognize the similarities with Aventus. Hacivat was made by Jorge Lee and was launched in 2017.
- Top notes: Pineapple, bergamot, and grapefruit.
- Middle notes: Cedar, patchouli, and jasmine.
- Base notes: Oakmoss and woody notes.
Nishane Hacivat opens with a fresh scent of bergamot and pineapple, just like Creed Aventus does. In fact, the opening of the two fragrances are nearly identical; a simple, straight-forward scent of fresh fruits.
Shortly thereafter, a nice touch of woody notes starts to appear. These woody notes do not contain a smoky aspect, so the woods feel a little more one-dimensional, but they still add that masculine feel to the cologne.
Nearing the dry down, the note of oakmoss really shows itself, blending in beautifully with the woody notes. The oakmoss in this fragrance is more pronounced than in Aventus, but both are done in a similar sort of way.
In the end, Nishane Hacivat is a wonderful replacement for Creed Aventus. It almost feels like a slightly safer version of an already safe fragrance.
- Similar to Creed Aventus: 7/10
- Longevity: 6-8 hours.
- Projection: Moderate.
8. Milton-Lloyd London Perfumer’s Choice No.9 Victor
This cologne is a mouthful, but an amazing Aventus clone at that. Just like all other fragrances on this list, this isn’t an exact copy, but it does come very close to the original.
- Top notes: Citruses and fruity notes.
- Middle notes: Woody notes and floral notes.
- Base notes: Oakmoss, vanilla, and musk.
The note breakdown is kind of secretive, as ‘fruity notes’ doesn’t really describe what kind of fruits are used, but we can safely assume that the actual notes are fairly similar to those of Aventus.
In fact, the opening immediately provides you with a pineapple-like scent, supported by some fresh citruses. And judging by the brightness of the citruses, there’s definitely a hint of bergamot in there.
As the cologne progresses, hints of woods can be picked up, as well as a touch of vanilla. These add a nice and masculine feel to the fragrance and also provide it with some depth.
Ever since the opening, this cologne has stayed relatively true to the scent of Aventus. Both are very comparable and only an enthusiast will pick up a clear difference.
- Similar to Creed Aventus: 9/10
- Longevity: 5-7 hours.
- Projection: Moderate.
9. Tiziana Terenzi Orion

Tiziana Terenzi is a fragrance brand with high-end niche fragrances. With that said, Orion is in fact a fragrance that shares a lot of similarities with Aventus, but isn’t necessarily a cheaper option. Orion was made by Paolo Terenzi and was launched in 2015.
- Top notes: Pineapple, apple, bergamot, and red currant.
- Middle notes: Birch, thyme, patchouli, and jasmine.
- Base notes: Cedar, incense, oud, musk, and amber.
The opening of Orion is composed of beautiful citrus notes, paired with juicy, fruity hints of apple and pineapple. The top notes are almost identical when compared to Aventus, and that definitely shines through in scent as well.
As the fragrance dries down, though, Orion takes a darker path. Hints of pepper, smoky birch, and oud are starting to shine through. Now, these notes aren’t overpowering or extremely dense, but they do make a much darker scent when compared to Aventus.
And that’s really where the main differences lie. Where some clones have a fresher take on Aventus, Orion has a darker and denser take. Yet this is still a wonderful fragrance that’s perfect for the warmer months and serves great as an alternative to Aventus.
- Similar to Creed Aventus: 8/10
- Longevity: 8+ hours.
- Projection: Moderate.
10. Mercedes-Benz Select
Mercedes-Benz Select is one of the many Mercedes-Benz fragrances, but this one shares quite a few similarities with Creed Aventus. This cologne was made by Olivier Cresp and was launched in 2018.
- Top notes: Bergamot and blackcurrant.
- Middle notes: Apple and mint.
- Base notes: Ambroxan, musk, and patchouli.
The opening of Mercedes-Benz Select is quite fruity with the notes of bergamot and blackcurrant. These ensure that the opening shares some similarities with Aventus, but the two aren’t the exact same.
From here, the fragrance takes a slightly cooler turn with the addition of mint. This is a note that’s not present in Aventus, so there are a few differences here.
Later on, the scent becomes a little smokier, but not woodier. This is yet another difference between Select and Aventus, leading to a fragrance that isn’t the exact same but is in a similar spirit.
Overall, Mercedes-Benz Select is a fragrance that isn’t 100% the same but does feel very similar to Aventus. People will be able to notice a difference when they smell the two side by side, but this difference isn’t too large. The one area where the difference is large is the price it’s sold for.
- Similar to Creed Aventus: 8/10
- Longevity: 5-7 hours.
- Projection: Moderate.
11. Parfums Vintage Pineapple Vintage Intense
Parfums Vintage is a fragrance brand that recreates popular fragrances, and Pineapple Vintage Intense is a fantastic recreation of Creed Aventus. This cologne was made by Damien Stammers and was launched in 2017.
- Top notes: Pineapple and apple.
- Middle notes: Pineapple, bergamot, rose, and jasmine.
- Base notes: Birch, musk, ambergris, vanille, and patchouli.
As you might have guessed from the name, Pineapple Vintage Intense is a cologne that will be heavy on the note of pineapple. The opening is dominated by the pineapple, but there’s also a strong presence of bergamot as well.
This makes for an opening that’s extremely similar to that of Aventus. And the scent being similar to Aventus doesn’t disappear over time either. This is a very faithful recreation all the way till the end.
There is a slightly stronger musk presence, but this isn’t done in a bad or overpowering manner. In fact, many see this as an improvement, as a nice and musky presence pretty much always lifts up a cologne.
Overall, Parfums Vintage Pineapple Vintage Intense is an incredible alternative for Creed Aventus, especially if you’re looking for a pineapple-heavy version of Aventus.
- Similar to Creed Aventus: 9/10
- Longevity: 4-6 hours.
- Projection: Moderate.
12. Zara Vibrant Leather

Zara is a brand known for mimicking other successful fragrances and giving it its own original spin. Vibrant Leather, created by Jerome Epinette, is no different and is almost a fresher version of Aventus.
- Top note: Bergamot.
- Middle note: Bamboo.
- Base note: Leather.
Zara Vibrant Leather has a rather simple note breakdown, and what you see is what you get. The opening is bright and fresh with the bergamot at the forefront. Bergamot is known for its bright, zesty, and summery scent, which is on perfect display in this fragrance.
In the background, you can notice a very soft undertone of leather. This gives the fragrance a rather interesting feel and sets it apart from Aventus a little.
And instead of birch, Vibrant Leather makes use of the note of bamboo. This gives the fragrance a lighter woody feel, tying in perfectly with the fresh bergamot.
Overall, Zara Vibrant Leather is basically a fresher version of Aventus with an added background scent of leather. Zara fragrances are only sold in Zara stores, so make sure to check this cologne out in your nearest Zara store!
- Similar to Creed Aventus: 7/10
- Longevity: 3-5 hours.
- Projection: Moderate.
13. Bond No.9 Bond No.9.com
Bond No.9 is an interesting fragrance brand that creates perfumes and colognes inspired by New York. Their Bond No.9.com, released in 2013, is an ode to the rise in e-commerce, but it also has a scent that’s very similar to that of Creed Aventus.
- Top notes: Pineapple, juniper berries, and bergamot.
- Middle notes: Apple, blackcurrant, and cedar.
- Base notes: Musk, moss, patchouli, and amber.
When you look at the note breakdown, you can see that it’s very similar to the note breakdown of Creed Aventus. However, Bond No.9.com is actually the least similar cologne on this list.
The opening is very fresh and fruity with a nice touch of pineapple and bergamot, but the scent is somewhat different from that of Aventus. Shortly thereafter, the notes of apple and blackcurrant start to appear, just like in Aventus, but once again, the scent is just a little bit different.
When the fragrance starts to develop, a nice undertone of warm cedarwood makes itself known, giving the fragrance a woody and masculine feel. The cedar does miss the smoky aspect that birch has, though.
In the dry down, this fragrance doesn’t actually change that much anymore, leaving you with a cologne that’s similar, but not the same. This is more like an homage to Aventus instead of a clone.
But even though this isn’t a replica, it is a great alternative, especially if you’re looking for a fragrance that smells like Aventus, but has a noticeable difference.
- Similar to Creed Aventus: 6/10
- Longevity: 5-7 hours.
- Projection: Moderate.
14. Reyane Insurrection II Pure
Reyane Insurrection II Pure is a woody and aromatic fragrance with a similar scent to that of Aventus. This cologne was launched in 2013, and ever since then, it’s been known as a fantastic Aventus alternative.
- Top notes: Pineapple, apple, bergamot, and cassis.
- Middle notes: Birch, patchouli, and jasmine.
- Base notes: Vanilla, musk, oakmoss, and amber.
Just by looking at the note breakdown, you can immediately see why these two fragrances share some similarities. Most of the notes are the same, and that definitely shines through in the actual scents.
The opening of Insurrection II Pure is fresh and fruity, just as you would expect. Hints of pineapple and bergamot are present, but so is a nice and sweet undertone of cassis. The opening is overall very comparable to that of Aventus.
As the scent progresses, a nice and smoky touch of birch starts to make itself known. Along with the birch is what seems like a green-smelling scent. This green addition does kind of throw off the scent a bit, making it stray away from the scent of Aventus.
From here, the cologne also doesn’t really change any more. This leaves you with a scent that started off very similar to Aventus, but over time fell off. Still, it’s a great alternative, especially if you’re looking for an affordable and summery Aventus-like cologne with a twist.
- Similar to Creed Aventus: 7/10
- Longevity: 4-6 hours.
- Projection: Moderate.
