Are Zara Fragrances Any Good?

There are so many brands nowadays that have their own fragrance line. Even car brands or clothing brand sell them. Often they’re regarded as sub-par fragrances, but sometimes they do have some really good ones. Zara is an example of that. Zara generally sells pretty decent fragrances.

Are Zara fragrances any good? Zara definitely has some good fragrances in its collection. Although their scents aren’t the most unique ones on the market, they do have quite a few fragrances that mimic more popular fragrances, like Creed Aventus. Overall, Zara has quite a few good ones in their collection, and with the inexpensive price tag they have, I’d say they’re a good purchase if you’re looking for some good, inexpensive fragrances. Most of their fragrances are definitely worth their price!

Like I mentioned, many Zara fragrances are similar to better known and well-established fragrances. Think of fragrances like Yves Saint Laurent La Nuit De l’Homme or Creed Aventus. The Zara variants not exact clones, but they do have a similar scent.

What To Expect From A Zara Fragrance

Zara is a fashion retailer, founded in 1975. Since 1998, Zara started to produce fragrances as well. Many of these fragrances are relatively cheap, some being as cheap as $10. This may sound like just another cheap fragrance, but Zara actually has some pretty nice ones. Zara has a few scents that smell like very popular and well-established fragrances, as well as some scents of its own.

I think the quality you get with these fragrances is very, very good, especially for the price you can get them. Most of them cost only a few bucks for a 120 ml bottle, so there really is no risk in buying one of these. These fragrances are especially a good pick if you’re short on money or if you’re a student. You’ll still be able to smell really good without losing a good amount of money.

1. Vibrant Leather

Vibrant Leather is one of Zara’s fragrances and it has is quite the resemblance to Creed Aventus. Creed Aventus is one of the most popular fragrances on the market, and with good reason. It is an incredibly good smelling and masculine fragrance. Vibrant Leather does a really good job copying this same vibe.

As the name suggests, Vibrant Leather has a leathery scent to it, as well as citrusy and woody notes. The fragrance smells really nice, fresh and masculine and it smells like its a high-quality fragrance. It really does smell a lot like Creed Aventus and that is never a bad thing. The scent might also remind you of pineapples, in a good way.

When you spray on this fragrance, the first bit really does smell quite like Creed Aventus, but after a while, it starts to become its own fragrance. When Vibrant Leather has had the time to dry down a bit, it becomes much more leathery than Creed Aventus.

Vibrant Leather only has three notes, being bergamot as the top note, bamboo as the middle note, and leather as the base note. The base note does make sense as the dried down version of Vibrant Leather is, well, leathery. The woody vibes come from the bamboo, and bergamot is what makes the opening similar to Creed Aventus. Overall, this fragrance is really nice and will probably get you quite a few compliments.

2. Rich Warm Addictive Tobacco Collection

Rich Warm Addictive is another fragrance in the Zara line, this one a tobacco fragrance. Again, another very inexpensive fragrance that, despite the price, is a very good fragrance.

Rich Warm Addictive is a very nice, cold weather fragrance. When you spray this one on, you really get some sweet, honey-like accords, with some noticeable coconut and tobacco as well. The bottle itself is also noteworthy. The bottle of Rich Warm Addictive is really nicely shaped with a dark brown color, which goes really well with the overall vibe and theme of the fragrance.

This fragrance, because of its notes, works really well during the cold months, as the winter and fall. When you smell it you can just picture yourself sitting at home during a cold night. It smells fantastic and works perfectly with the cold, indoor nights.

However, Rich Warm Addictive is inoffensive enough for casual wear, or when going to the office. It’s just a really nice pick, with an amazing price point.

One downside though is the packaging. This doesn’t affect the fragrance whatsoever, but the box this fragrance comes in is a little complicated and unnecessary. But don’t let this scare you away from Rich Warm Addictive.

3. Seoul 532-8

The full name of this fragrance is Seoul 532-8 Sinsa Dong Gangnam-Gu, but I’ll be calling it Seoul 532-8. Seoul 532-8 has a similar scent to Paco Rabanne Invictus. There are many Zara fragrances that mimic Paco Rabanne Invictus, but in my opinion, Seoul 532-8 does it best.

The scent you get when spraying on Seoul 532-8 is an aromatic, almost aquatic like vibe, along with some salty and citrusy hints. It starts off with a fresh tangerine-like scent. It then starts to dry off into a clean and aromatic fragrance, combined with a salty aquatic vibe. The fragrance itself actually has very good performance, it lasts long and projects well enough. You can expect up to five hours or more with this fragrance.

Seoul 532-8 is a fragrance that is more suited during hot weather, like during the summer and spring. The fragrance is also quite inoffensive, making it a great, inexpensive office fragrance, or a nice one for casual summer wear.

4. Aromatic Future

Aromatic Future is a Zara fragrance that lives up to its name. This fragrance smells very aromatic, along with a bit of fresh spiciness. Aromatic Future could be compared to Dior Sauvage, only a little less sharp and a bit more floral.

Just like Dior Sauvage, you can really wear Aromatic Future all year long. It also suits almost any occasion as well, making it a great overall fragrance. Dior Sauvage is a mass-appealing fragrance, and that can be found in Aromatic Future as well.

The top notes of this fragrance are black pepper and bergamot. After a bit, you’ll be able to detect lavender and cashmere wood, and when it’s mostly dried down, there are notes of ambergris and vetiver, for a fresh ending.

Aromatic Future has decent longevity and projects pretty well. Even though it’s a fragrance you can pick up for only a few bucks, it does its job really well.

5. Y Collection

Zara’s Y Collection is a pretty good clone of the popular Yves Saint Laurent La Nuit De l’Homme. Y Collection is a warm, spicy and aromatic fragrance that just smells really good and is almost exactly the same as the fragrance it’s based on.

The scent of this fragrance is warm and spicy, which can be traced back to the notes it has. As the top notes, Y Collection has bergamot, sage, and lavender, making it masculine and warm. When it starts to dry down you get rose and cloves, giving it a spicy, floral vibe. When it is dried down, you can get vetiver, patchouli, tonka beans, and musk.

Overall, Y Collection lasts quite long and performs great and I definitely recommend getting this one. It is a great cold weather fragrance, and like Yves Saint Laurent La Nuit De l’Homme, it works perfectly for dates and other close encounters occasions.

6. Wood Noir

Wood Noir is Zara’s take on a woody fragrance. Which is what this one smells like, woody, spicy, and aromatic. This fragrance features something that isn’t really common, being a woody top note. The sweet, woody vibes make this fragrance a great option for the cold times in the winter and fall.

This woody fragrance is a really nice one, but it is quite linear. You start of with a woody note, blended with bergamot. This flows into a rosy, floral scent, which quickly flows into a more oud-like scent, blended with lavender. What you’ll be left with is a sweet oud fragrance that is very pleasant to be around. This fragrance now has a warm vibe around it.

With a dark, sweet, and woody scent, you might think this fragrance is more for older people, but this isn’t really true. In the time the fragrance dries down, the fragrance takes a more modern approach, making it just as wearable for younger guys.
