People wearing their fragrance, sweaty people and most likely there will be people who smoke. Therefore, it is quite important that you have a strong, catchy fragrance to make you stand out. These are usually the more sweet fragrances, as they are more noticeable in crowded environments, but you can also go with something else.
The main thing to keep in mind when you choose a fragrance to wear when going to the club is performance. You’ll most likely be there for a while and reapplying at the club can be difficult if they even let you take your fragrance inside. You want your fragrance to be appealing, catchy and playful. These are some of the best clubbing fragrances to use in 2019.
1. Jean Paul Gaultier Ultra Male
Jean Paul Gaultier’s Ultra Male is a very unique and sexy fragrance. The scent is very sweet, which makes this fragrance amazing for the crowded club space. The fragrance comes in the iconic male torso bottle, with dark blue and black stripes. Some notes of this fragrance are vanilla, pear, and cinnamon, which definitely make up the sweetness in this fragrance. The fragrance is very seductive, yet masculine, which is perfect for clubs and other places where your fragrance has to compete with many others. When you wear this fragrance, do make sure to use only about 3 to 4 sprays, using more is way too much. Ultra Male is also leaning more towards cooler weather. The sweetness in this fragrance doesn’t go well with heat, so make sure you use this fragrance appropriately.
Overall, Ultra Male is an amazing clubbing fragrance with great longevity. Ultra Male will last you throughout your clubbing night, no question. Many people like this fragrance, and with good reason.
2. Versace Eros
Versace Eros is an awesome clubbing fragrance. It’s a sweet, long lasting and high performing fragrance. The fragrance smells very mature, but not old. It gives off a great vibe, which works amazingly in clubs. Versace Eros will make sure you’ll get noticed when in a crowded room and make sure you will throughout the entire night. The scent itself is sweet, yet a bit heavier than other sweet scents, which makes this fragrance work especially well in the fall or winter. The fragrance has a pretty heavy projection, so make sure to not use too much of it. You do not want to drown people in the scent. But overall, Versace Eros is definitely an amazing fragrance for clubbing and I would highly recommend it.
Versace Eros is also priced really affordable, which makes it even better.
3. Azzaro Wanted
Azzaro Wanted is a really nice, fruity fragrance. The fragrance itself is nothing new or special, it is just a really good one. What it does have is a very, very good performance. It can last you all day long, so you’ll be sure it will last you all night long as well. The bottle itself is also very cool, looking like a cylinder. Azzaro Wanted does have some similarities to Paco Rabanne Invictus, but after it has dried down a bit, it goes in its own direction.
Azzaro Wanted is relatively new, first came out in 2016, but it is capable of holding its ground. It is a playful fragrance which works really well with young adults.
4. Paco Rabanne One Million
Paco Rabanne One Million was my first clubbing fragrance. At the time, I didn’t really know much about fragrances, but I did know that this one was doing some serious work at the club. The sweetness in this fragrance is so seductive, yet masculine at the same time. It really nails it perfectly. Nowadays, many people know and wear One Million, but with good reason. Now if you want to stand out and be unique while clubbing, this might not be the best option, as many others probably have it as well, but if you just want to smell like a million bucks, take this one.
Paco Rabanne One Million was one of my first fragrances, and ever since then, I bought a new bottle once I was out. I highly recommend it, but try to avoid making One Million your signature scent, as you’ll just blend in with the rest.
5. Dior Sauvage
Dior Sauvage has gained much popularity lately, but for good reason. It is not necessarily a sweet fragrance, but it is a very noticeable, aggressive fragrance. Because of it being not so sweet, Dior Sauvage could be worn all year long. It is very versatile and very good for at the club. But just like One Million, Dior Sauvage is becoming one of those fragrances that a bunch of people will wear.
Even though it has become quite a regular fragrance, you’ll be sure to turn some heads while wearing it. There is always a reason for something to grow out to be something big.
6. Viktor & Rolf Spicebomb
As the name suggests, this fragrance is a spice bomb. When you spray this one on, you’ll be instantly hit with spicy, sweet notes which go perfectly with colder temperatures. I also find it to be very inviting. It is not at all overpowering or really aggressive, but it is very notable and welcoming. This fragrance will do some outstanding work with the ladies. In my opinion, Spicebomb by Viktor & Rolf is a must have, not only for clubbing but for many other occasions.
The fragrance also has a very good duration. You can definitely notice it all day or all night long. Another thing to note about the fragrance is the ‘bomb’ part of the name, which can be found in the bottle. The bottle is also shaped really cool. So you have a cool looking bottle, with one of the best fragrances inside of it.
7. Paco Rabanne Invictus Aqua
Invictus Aqua is a very clean and crisp fragrance. There are many versions of Paco Rabanne’s Invictus, but in my opinion, Invictus Aqua is the best one of them all for clubbing purpose. It can smell a bit synthetic, but overall it just smells very good. It will get you noticed, especially on the more warm and summery nights. The bottle it comes in is formed like a champions cup, which is what you’ll feel like when spraying this on, a champion. It makes you smell really good and smelling good always boosts your confidence.
8. Tom Ford Amber Absolute
Tom Ford Amber Absolute is, in my opinion, one of the winter nights out fragrances. It has a sort of smoky vanilla nuance to the amber and lasts a very long time. It also smells very masculine, which is always a plus. This sweet fragrance is a bit harder to find than most others but is definitely worth it. Tom Ford Amber Absolute is a great option for your fragrance of choice on those really cold nights out.
This masculine, seductive fragrance is definitely worth the purchase. It is a bit pricier than most fragrances, but if you have the money for it, it is absolutely worth it.
9. Creed Aventus
Creed Aventus, one of the best known expensive fragrances. And for good reason. Creed Aventus just screams masculinity. When you’re wearing Aventus, it feels like you can take on the world. So, you can definitely take on the club. Aventus is often described as a fragrance for people who want to live a well-lived life. People who want to chase success, and achieve it.
Creed Aventus is such a good fragrance that it has inspired many clones. Some definitely come close, but Aventus is a thing of its own. Now I know it might be too expensive to wear during clubbing, but if you have the money for it, it might be your best option out there. It is one of my favorites, and I’sure it will be for a very long time.
10. Armaf Club De Nuit
Like I mentioned above, Creed Aventus has inspired many clones. One of those clones is Armaf’s Club De Nuit. This fragrance definitely comes close to the original Creed Aventus. Therefore, it is a very good smelling fragrance. It also lasts very long so you won’t have to reapply during the night. Club De Nuit is not really a sweet fragrance, but more on the fresh side. So wearing this one to a summer party is your best bet. It is also a lot more affordable than its inspiration, Creed Aventus, making it more readily available.
This fresh fragrance will get you noticed at the club and is a great option.
11. Bvlgari Aqva Amara
Another very fresh fragrance that is awesome for those summer parties. When you spray this on, you’ll get a blast of citrus and orange, which later transforms into this floral and aquatic vibe. You can imagine this goes very well with hot weather. It is also a long lasting fragrance and a very noticeable one as well. Another upside of Aqva Amara is that not that many people are wearing this one, so you’ll be unique. Again, this fragrance is more geared towards summer, but it can of course work in winter as well.

12. Calvin Klein Shock
Calvin Klein Shock is a very affordable fragrance. Nonetheless, it smells really good and fits the çlubbing fragrance’ description perfectly. It smells sweet, with amber and tobacco notes, making it perfect for the club. The performance is also quite good. Nothing special, but it will work throughout the night, which is what we’re going for. The fragrance itself is very cheap, so you can always pick it up and try it out. Because it is relatively cheap, you won’t feel bad about using a lot of sprays for the night, and getting new bottles won’t be as big a deal as with others.
13. Chanel Allure Homme Sport
Allure Homme Sport is a very versatile fragrance. You can use it any time of the year and it will always make sure that you get compliments. The fragrance has a very fresh, orange and mint scent to it and lasts pretty long. When you spray it on, the first few hours you will really notice this one, but that fades away after a bit. Not that it goes away or anything, but the projection in the first few hours is really strong.
This fragrance is definitely a head turner in the clubs and overall a very good choice.
14. Salvatore Ferragamo F Black
This lavender, peppery fragrance isn’t as well known as some of the others listed here. But that doesn’t mean it isn’t a very good fragrance to wear to the clubs. In fact, it is a very nice, masculine, strong fragrance. It is also a very cheap one, with very good performance. F Black works really well during the winter but can honestly be worn throughout the year.
Overall, the price, performance, and smell make this one of the best options to go for when choosing a clubbing fragrance.
15. Giorgio Armani Acqua Di Gio Profumo
Acqua Di Gio Profumo is a very masculine, laid back fragrance. The fragrance is very fresh, which makes it perfect for those summer evening parties. It is a very well-known fragrance, for good reasons. Acqua Di Gio Profumo is one of my personal favorites and I’ve gotten many compliments with it. Ever since I got it became my go-to summer fragrance, not only for parties or clubs but also on the more laid back evenings. Acqua Di Gio Profumo is my favorite pick for something like a beach party.
The fragrance is inspired by the original Acqua Di Gio, but the new Profumo version adds some layers of sweetness and cleanness, making it a perfect choice for clubbing nights. I highly recommend this one, not only for parties but for many more occasions. Acqua Di Gio Profumo is reasonably priced, and highly recommended!
16. Versace Dylan Blue
Versace Dylan Blue is a very safe bet. The smell is really nice, with a lot of notes blended very well. Dylan Blue is Versace’s take on the modern man. The opening of Dylan Blue can be a bit off-putting to some, but if you’re able to sit with it for a few minutes, the scent will be well worth it. The longevity of the fragrance is very good. You can expect up to ten hours of smelling amazing with Versace Dylan Blue.
Versace Dylan Blue is widely available, but most often it is a bit cheaper on big online retail sites.
17. Gallagher Amongst Waves
Amongst Waves is another less known fragrance on this list. Amongst Waves is a very fruity, tropical and playful fragrance, which, as you can guess, goes really well with summer parties. It also lasts really long and works very well when your body temperatures are rising. This fragrance is really something else. It is really unique. It is also quite expensive, but if you want to try out a sweet fragrance, but not any of the standard sweet, sugary fragrances, give this a try!
18. Azzaro Chrome
Azzaro Chrome is a very fresh, almost metallic fragrance which really stands out in the club. Of course, may fragrances worn in the club will be sweet, so an almost metallic one will definitely make you stand out. Azzaro Chrome is a fragrance that has been around for a very long time and is very easy to wear. It will work all year round and is also quite affordable. The fragrance has a youthful, playful vibe to it, while also smelling very masculine. When you’re wearing this, you’ll be sure to get some compliments.
19. Carolina Herrera CH Men Prive
CH Men Prive is a fragrance more suited to a relaxed, laid back party or a lounge. It is a very masculine fragrance and goes best with a more laid back vibe. You shouldn’t be wearing this when you go to a real club with the intent of dancing all night, but it goes really well with a more laid back, lounge vibe. It contains some whiskey notes, which make it the scent somewhat rich and dark, and dark scents usually work best in the colder seasons.
