Best Creed Silver Mountain Water Clones

Creed has a whole bunch of fantastic fragrances. One of those being Creed Silver Mountain Water. However, Creed Silver Mountain Water is quite expensive. Therefore, many people are looking for clones that cost a little less, but smell almost the same!

The Scent Of Creed Silver Mountain Water

Creed Silver Mountain Water is a widely popular fragrance from the house of Creed, introduced in 1995. When it was created, the perfumer was inspired by the snow-capped Alps and the streams of water flowing through them. Due to this inspiration, the perfumer wanted to create a soothing, icy-like smelling fragrance, reminiscent if those cold Alps.

The top notes of Creed Silver Mountain Water are bergamot, mandarin, and neroli. These start the fragrance with a very fresh, citrusy scent. The middle notes are green tea and blackcurrant. These start to add the icy, soothing scent. This is what Creed Silver Mountain Water is known for. The base notes are sandalwood and musk.

Overall, Creed Silver Mountain Water is a fantastic fragrance with a fresh, cold smelling scent. Such a scent is perfect for those warm, summery days. However, there is one downside to all Creed fragrances. That is their price. Creed fragrances are quite expensive. If you’re interested, you can check out the current price over here on Amazon! However, many people rather go for a very similar, yet more affordable fragrance. That’s where fragrance clones come in.

What Are Fragrance Clones

Some fragrances can be extremely expensive. There are many exclusive, niche fragrance houses that have price tags that go up a little more than most people are comfortable with. However, there are also fragrance houses that, intentionally, or unintentionally, create a fragrance with a very similar scent. Not all of those fragrances come close, however, some are so similar, that for the untrained nose, there is no difference. However, there is a huge difference in price. Fragrance clones are often much cheaper than the originals they’re modeled after.

These fragrance clones, are as the name suggests, only clones. They are not the original, nor will they ever be. However, they can give you a very good impression of what the original will be like. Purchasing a fragrance clone is a fantastic idea if you’re looking for a similar scent for a cheaper price. However, they are no replacements, just alternatives. But that doesn’t make them any less nice!

A Way To Get The Original Fragrance For A Little Cheaper

Although the fragrances listed above are fantastic and bear a close resemblance to Creed Silver Mountain Water, they’re not the exact same. No fragrance clone is 100% the same.

Luckily, there is also a way to try out the original Creed Silver Mountain Water for a much cheaper price. The way to do this is to purchase a fragrance decant. A decant is a small bottle filled up with the original fragrance. A decant is usually anywhere between 5ml and 30ml.

A decant seller also purchases the largest bottle available. This way, he has a lower cost per ml. Thanks to this, and the fact that you purchase a smaller bottle, you can try out the original fragrance for a far cheaper price. If you’d like to read more about decants and where to get them, you can read this article I wrote over here!
