The house of Byredo is a well-known niche fragrance house. Known for it’s well-crafted, memory-invoking fragrances, the house of Byredo is a niche fragrance house you just can’t avoid. But, out of all of their fragrances, which ones are the best for women?

The House Of Byredo And Its Fragrances

The house of Byredo is a Swedish brand. Byredo is a company in the fashion industry, but they also create fragrances. The house of Byredo is perhaps best known for their simplistic, yet great-smelling fragrances. A Byredo fragrance often has a very simplistic scent with an almost mist-like vibe around it. This creates the illusion of the fragrance being not that strong. However, that is not the case.

Byredo fragrances are actually quite strong and when you wear them, you will get noticed. The misty feel just makes it appear as if its a subtle scent. This also makes many of the Byredo fragrances perfect for warm-weather wear, as most fragrances feel like they’re subtle and inoffensive.

The founder of Byredo, Ben Gorham, was inspired by the fact that fragrances can take you to certain memories and places. Therefore, he decided to pour a bunch of creativity into his fragrances. This way, he created fragrances that evoke certain memories or take you to certain places.

He first did that with Byredo’s first fragrance, Byredo Gypsy Water, and has continued to do that to this days. With well over 15 fragrances in their collection, Byredo continues to impress. Below are some of the nicest Byredo fragrances for women, in no particular order.

Should You Get A Byredo Fragrance

The house of Byredo has some incredibly nice fragrances. Although most fragrances are more geared towards the spring and summer, or even the fall, there’s still a wide variety of beauties in their collection. That’s not to say they don’t have any winter fragrances, as those are definitely there as well. When you look at the scents alone, a Byredo fragrance is more than worth it and will be a great addition to anyone’s collection.

However, a Byredo fragrance is a niche fragrance. This means multiple things. One of them is that they usually have a higher price tag. However, with this high price tag comes a fragrance of greater quality. One thing that’s often found in a Byredo fragrance is that the scent almost feels like a mist around you. The scent itself appears to be light and not that long-lasting. In reality, they do actually last quite long. They only appear to be light. This makes Byredo fragrances more versatile, as you can wear them to pretty much anything without having to worry you’re wearing an overpowering and offensive scent.

However, you might want to test them out before purchasing a full bottle. The best way to do this is to purchase a fragrance decant. A decant is basically a smaller bottle, usually 5ml or 10ml, filled up with the original fragrance. This way, you can test out a small amount of a certain fragrance without having to pay for a full bottle. If you’d like to read more about fragrance decants, you can read this other article I wrote about decants here!

In the end, a Byredo fragrance is more than worth it. With their fantastic scents and reasonable niche price tag, I’d suggest you take a look at your collection and see which one would fit in there perfectly!
